In Year 4 we place a huge emphasis on learning our times tables as the children will complete the official Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) in June. It is important that the children continue their learning of times tables at home.  To help with this, the front page of their homework book has a QR code/link for them to practise their times tables.

Reminders:

• Children are expected to read regularly at home and have their reading records signed. It is advised that they do this every evening.  Ten minutes a night will make such a difference!

• PE this term will be on Thursday afternoon. The children are back to in-school PE lessons with Miss Bell.

• Homework will be sent out on a Friday and this is to be completed in their homework book and will be due back the following Wednesday.

• Spellings will be sent home on a Friday and children will need to learn these words for the following Friday.

I will keep you updated on our Class Dojo page with photographs/messages and I will update you with key information on here too.

We have an open door policy and we are happy to speak to you about anything you are concerned about, or want to know more information about. Feel free to grab either of us before or after school or you can message us on Class Dojo.

Thanks,

 Mrs Garnett and Miss Alty
